And then time passed…

 And then time passed…

Am opening the box on Alex Allington now, and the work, I was doing before the open house surgery – when I diverted to writing as M-C Allington, for an adult Equestrian Suspense trilogy I was working on.

Alex Allington – out of the box.

I am starting with a read through – I have changed a lot in two years and I need to re connect with Alex Allington, the happy horsey soul, who first wrote about Benji, and his gang of friends, for fun, while she messed about after work with her own horses and ponies and friends. I need to reconnect to the Alex Allington who, when riding alone, often wondered what would happen if she and her horse rounded a bend and met a Roman solider or a Viking coming the other way …

The Indie writing world has changed so much and increasing layers of new opportunity can blur into an impenetrable fog obscuring the path ahead – I have stuck to my route map as best I can while still taking in the ever changing view. There is still a way to go before Benji and the gang hit the shelves but they are coming. 🙂

2016 – 2017 Update…

Flight of the Dragon…

The Quest Series is now dictated and transcribed by  Dragon – 330,00 words over four books at the moment – but I will break that down on editing to five going into six which will take Benji and friends up to the Christmas following his arrival in the area. And what a year it has turned out to be for them…

Quest Series – Book One – Work In Progress.

Bridle Path Series…

I found these cool images on line to inspire me with ‘We Rode For Wessex’ which is on the drawing board and the one below for ‘We Rode For Rome’ which is along side it.

They are both on the To Do list in the plot building and outlining process after Quest starts to go into serious production this year – 2018 –  I will be getting the email list building give-away ready for that – and finding an Editor to work with me on that project.

It has been hard work to get the stories to this point but also great fun – I love spending time with Benji and the gang and I am getting to like the new crews in the time shifty stories just as much. Looking forward more progress in 2018 🙂
