Three horses and IT 🙂
Rufus is seen here posing for his ‘bluebell shot’ – which had become the annual proof that I was still riding – but, this year is one of a whole portfolio of proof 🙂
Buddy is seen here looking a lot tidier – however, he had pus in his near side fore – and so had a break – then, his allergies flared up causing violent head shaking – this comes and goes but he is not safe to ride – even if I was so mean – which I am not. Hopefully, he will feel better soon Meanwhile he supervises the editing of Luckshill Riders 🙂
Flax, meanwhile, has made my dreams come true. For the last 5 years, I have wanted to ride him – but I had abandoned that – when he was 8 years old as he really didn’t like being out alone. Parelli, helped enormously and kept my morale up and gave me the game plan to work on our relationship on the ground, beyond that which I had already employed. This hasn’t been regular, or routine, and we won’t star in any shows dressed Western or Dressage, but I had started to feel something indefinable had shifted in both our attitudes. So, having ‘begun again’ with Rufus, this year, and faced my demons with Buddy, I took advantage of a massive IT outage here and Flax and I went back to school.
In the last six weeks while Buddy, has been sneezing and head shaking at the spring pollen and after Rufus, has trundled me out to see the sunrise most mornings Flax, has quietly come up alongside and readers, we now ride on…
