Most of this week has been spent ‘ head banging’ over the tech-company-made issues that create havoc when anyone ‘with normal expectations’ uses an eclectic mix of hardware OS and devices.
The prize for this week’s biggest ‘laugh’ was – in trying to set up an Android tablet four-in-hand when my iMac was too old to let me log back into MS product Apps – so I had to set up working in many ‘clouds’ which meant that while in Google Browser, editing the MS, I could read it on my laptop (W10) but ( with split screen and in middle of thoughts of actual writing work) Google flashed up that if I wanted to ‘ cut and paste’ with the ( in-built mouse), then I needed to download another App/ permission from them!!!!!
I pretty much wasted four long days of this week on this. I hear there are legal cases about this in the US. The cost to industry of this childishness in time wasted must be huge.
I did re read the last scenes written and make notes ahead of writing on next week. 🙂
